What are things to do on a Saturday in Baton Rouge for someone out of town with a 3 year old?

on a Saturday in Baton Rouge

Well this Saturday, there is a football game. Walking around campus can be fun. Downtown, the USS kid is docked. My nephew gets a kick out of that. I think there is still a kids museum still right down the road from the Kidd

Go to a gas station in North Baton Rouge, and wear a pink shirt

Downtown museum has some kid friendly areas and US Kidd. Took mine there a few weeks ago and they liked it.

There's a corn maze somewhere around campus. My wife and in-laws are bringing all the kids there one weekend.

LSU Ag Center Botanic Gardens (on Essen) does a corn/hay maze with a petting zoo and ziplines and whatnot.

I would suggest Area 51 if you're interested in that kind of thing.

+one on that. The little Burden museum activities are fun for kids. The corn maze is fun but the kids love all the little activities around it.

On a different suggestion. My kid loves Highland road park. Got a great playground and a lot of "exploring" ground to cover.

The one and only. Just stay away from the prohibited areas.

This Saturday? Take them tailgating. Should be a lowerish key game. IDK what your tailgate looks like but always a few little kids running around at mine.

Did they ever open the children's museum by City Park, they have a nice park there for kids as well.
