She changed the brake pads on the front of her car that she was driving when we first started dating. Knew then that I was gonna put a ring on it.

I was at work and our dryer went out. She took it apart and figured out the part that was broke. Went to appliance store and got part and fixed it. She was sending me pics while doing it and had it (dryer) taken apart about as much as you can have it. I was quite proud of her She got it back working again. I can’t remember now what it was on dryer that broke. I was just glad I wasn’t gonna have to fool with it when I got home

ETA: Just asked, it was heating coil

Eta2: That doesn’t sound right, she had to take a good bit apart and heating coil (element) is easy overall. Maybe she just made it difficult

Installed carpet all by herself in the guest bedroom. I was very impressed.

My lady did an amazing job reclaiming and refinishing some mismatched and worn furniture that I was going to replace. Painted it in this cool way and it looks awesome now.

My ole lady? Fix something?

She can wrap presents and fold towels. That is about it.

Uh, wut?

Would love to hear the explanation for why carpet is low class. In a bedroom.

I dont think it's technically low class. But it sure does suck balls IMO. I hate carpet. Wood floor or tile for me!

She "fixed" the knob on the dryer. Cost me an afternoon having to re-fix the superglue mess she made and actually replace the knob.

She "fixed" the leaky pipe under the kitchen sink by sticking a bucket there and not saying anything. Found a bucket full of foul dishwater about a week after she did this one.

The crown jewel was when she took off my passenger mirror by pulling into the driveway too hot. Knew I'd be mad so she tried to "fix it before I found out" like some little kid who smashed up a window. Used about a full bottle of wood glue and went inside. Stuff expanded as it dried and when I came out in the morning my poor mirror looked like some art project.

Shes changed her ways and talks with me before fixing stuff but man I tell yall her snatch is made of pure gold.

My wife changed out the carburetor on our lawn mower while I was out of town. I married a keeper.
