I was a bad 14-year-old girl and my sisters and I would crank call the meat department at Schwegman’s grocery on Airline Highway and ask if they had “ham without da bone” on sale.
We crank called those pregnancy hotlines and movie theaters. I will never get tired of making prank calls.

This is bad, but a friend and I in college would call middle eastern and Indian foreign students and tell them there was an immigration check at 5 AM at some random gas station the next morning.

Good stuff. We used to randomly dial and ask the caller for the time. You’d be surprised by the number of people who went to check the time.
