Net Makers

My PawPaw made entire trawl nets by hand and he wasnt the only one my babysitters husband Mr. Tib did as well and my PawPaw's brother. He would start with a rope strung between 2 trees and a couple balls of string and make trawl nets. His last one he made was 25'

That's true. I remember sitting in my doctors office waiting room and everyone was speaking a mixture of English & French. I didn't think anything of it at the time. I sure wish I would of paid more attention.

Kids weren't allowed to speak French in school back in the day. It has no practical purpose now. My dad's first language was French and he was the one who said I should take Spanish in high school.

Cursive writing.


My aunt tried to tell me the other day that kids weren't being taught cursive so they couldn't read the constitution. I had to shake my head at that one.
