While very true, most have probably only really eaten one region of Indian food. The spice profile and flavor profile of just North vs South Indian food is astronomically different, not to mention getting into east vs west. The spices are obviously very strongly used in Indian food, so some not liking it is to be expected. Most of the time though, I bet most haven't really explored much Southern Indian cuisine, they mostly dislike the Northern dishes. The southern dishes are going to be much closer related to some of the other Asian flavor profiles that people enjoy. That's mostly the point I was getting at.

BBQ. I mean..I don't dislike it, but as long as the meat is cooked properly, it all tastes the same. I don't get the competitions or some guy sitting by his smoker for 8-10 hours and people making a huge deal out of it. It's BBQ. Smoke,meat, tomato or vinegar based sauce. It's all the same.

Tequila in any form…even in a Margarita. Drink bourbon regularly and a have a decent collection. The last time I had tequila was on the trip back from the LSU/UF football game in Gainesville in ‘00…succumbed to peer pressure, haven’t had any since.
