About 2% of vehicles still have a stick baw.
Probably won't have to worry about them getting stolen, anyway.

I'll give you the stick shift.
A lot of folks have a reason to back up a trailer.
Owners of:
Boats
Waverunners
ATV's
Camper Trailer/Fifth wheel etc
Eta....are any of these things your cup of tea?

Don’t need to know how to drive a stick unless you live in Africa

I’ve never needed to back up a trailer. I’ve owned multiple manual transmission vehicles, and can parallel park well.
I think everyone needs to know how to change a tire. My dad taught me, and I’m grateful. I have roadside assistance, but I’ve never had to be stranded anywhere waiting for them since I can change it myself.

you need to replace drive a stick shift, which is a useless skill to have today, with change a flat tire yourself.

Build a camp fire. Amazed how many guys aren't able to start a fire from sticks and kindling.
