bullshite. Boomers were parents during the late 80s and 90s and paid for all of that except for Uber, streaming and apps.

Exactly... and they're almost just as addicted to technology as teenagers. As a whole, boomers are extremely lazy and benefited massively from the sacrifices of the greatest generation.

Average cc debt for boomers and millenials is basically the same.

Enjoy that myth, though.

Boomers are one of the worst generations in this country’s history. Definitely the worst generation since slavery was legal ainec.

Those old turds have been a giant net negative to this country.

Oil changes - yes we did

Someone to change our tire - do you mean a flat or new set of tires? Agree if you mean flats but disagree if you mean new tires.

Streaming TV services (worthless) - are you retarded? These weren't invented yet but I would've because how the hell else was I supposed to watch Gunsmoke?

Brand new vehicles - you are retarded

House cleaning - maids ain't free now and weren't then either

Wow. What an ironic statement

If you're not old now, you will be soon. Quit hating and put yourself in someone else's shoes for once.

Things boomers did:
- increased taxes to extreme
- increased medical insurance to extreme
- stupid foreign wars
- keep their jobs too long
- ask for help with technology constantly
- Walmart
- made college cost too much
- looked down on blue collar jobs
- told us we were special and gave us participation trophies

PSA for OP

Whatever you do, don’t look at how much $$ us boomers have vs your little nest egglet.

It will make you even sadder than you already are & we need you to work hard so you can pay SS taxes on time. We’re counting on you bro!

The list is accurate for most of the boomers I know. We did raise our kids in the eighties & nineties, and we were raised by our WWII parents to do things for ourselves.

quote:

House square footage was considerably less with more kids in them.

Some of our houses were smaller, but many of us had 2000+ sq ft houses. Many of us also had less children than our parents because the Population Bomb book that started the small family trend was published in 1968, and my generation were greatly influenced by it. Most of the boomers I know had two children. My family of six was unusual.
