I was heading home on I-20 heading towards I-49 and saw a group of about 6 cruisers with lights on heading west on I-20, then was passed by another 4 units taking the Kings exit, then saw another 4 - 5 units going over 3132. All just before 9PM, knew something was bad...

That terrible.

Was a female officer I believe. I’m sure it happens, but still seems rare to me.

Not shot in line of duty. Her husband or boyfriend capped her at home

Wut? Bossier is 10x safer than Shreveport, and abt 100x safer than NOLA. You’re a moron.

Btw, the officer was shot no he’s S/O. So there’s that.

This is about as misinformed of a statement as I've ever seen.

Actually, Bossier's violent crime rate is only marginally lower than Shreveport and it's overall crime rate is higher.

This was written when she started working foe SPD

quote:

Long Days. Aching Nights. But I decided to stand tall on my dream. Main lesson taught was to never lose sight of who you are and where you come from. The main thing is to build on who you are and to become an influential and better person for those whom may surround me or I may encounter. My personal mission is to become that positive influence. To Protect those who can’t protect themselves & to at least try to push someone to being a better version of themselves! I’ve never claimed to be perfect, but I am taking this step and becoming a better version of myself by knowing that it is always something bigger than MYSELF ?? It is an honor to be able to join such a powerful family with my Brothers and Sisters in Blue ?? May the journey begin ?? #SPD79
