Not necessarily. There could be distinct advantages to the brain that could develop like faster response/recognition times.
For instance, older people with declining brain function are sometimes treated by playing call of duty.

Absolutely this.
The more “connected” we get the less connected we are. The only thing that gives me hope is that this kind of shite can’t replace physical touch and the human emotion of being on someone else’s presence. I’m just not sure that’ll be enough with this younger generation who never knew life without this technology.
