No they don't. Planned Parenthood gets federal money through Medicaid. There's a federal law that prohibits federal money being used for abortion. But even if tax money was used for it, I wouldn't really care.

How many more people have wreck less sex given the safety nets in place? Would the rates of sex between poor and unmarried change if they knew they wouldn't be financially compensated by the government?

Personally I am opposed to abortions. But this argument seems off. As a taxpayer, would I rather pay for the abortion vs paying for a single mother to raise the kid for 18 years? One seems waaaaaay cheaper than the other.

I don't think it's whether one is more expensive than the other that makes people say they don't want their tax money spent on abortions, but rather they don't want any of their money going towards something they oppose
