You're saying someone stole a package off your porch then came back the next day put the packing slip from the stolen package in your mailbox?

Force criminals to wear masks and operate in teams.

Which will force the police to do better. Which they wont

So vigilantes will start donning masks and waiting to catch the criminals.

This is how criminal enterprises, master villains, and superheros start.

My mom found a package at her front door out of the envelope. Fortunately whoever opened it wasn't interested in what she ordered and just left it.

Your mom's package was accidentally delivered to a neighbor, who didn't check the label before opening. Once opened, neighbor realized it wasn't their merchandise and checked the label, then delivered to the correct address.

Yes. It was all crumpled up.

UPS

I went by SAMs and looked around for a more immediate solution, but I'd be overpaying for a system that was either too much or too little.

I have no idea. People are stupid. Probably thought they could be tracked with the slip.

My wife and I order too much stuff. The front desk at my office would be inundated with my personal mail. I already hear grumblings from front desk staff about other employees who use the office as their personal shipping/receiving station.

Fed Ex has a pretty good feature that will allow you to elect to send a package to the Walgreens of your choice. I selected this option for a very expensive item recently. Easy process.

Yup. This way, when new discs come in, I can head to an open field and throw them immediately.

Cameras allowed me to post a picture on social media and I had the name of the person within a few hours.

Got my package back the next day.

This am on NextDoor.com, someone posted a video of a fine urban citizen stealing packages from her front porch. It showed his face and entire body completely clearly. It got whacked for some reason. I guess racism and/or criminals' rights.

Yet our NextDoor admins leave up blatant "arrest Trump" type political rants, despite RAs. Go fig.

to those that say we have too many incarcerated - this is proof positive we don't have nearly enough incarcerated.

We live out in the country, 5 miles from the nearest paved road. We built a small outbuilding that our FedEx driver has a key to, he drops off all of our packages there, my parents and in laws use our address just because of this.
