That's a pretty good alternative.

IDGAF about what the ladies downstairs say about my amazon packages.

We have people this time of year cruising our neighborhood looking for packages. I have them now delivered to my office and the neighborhood has hired private security and the police captain in charge of our area is becoming more visible.

Low and behold the dude knocks once and runs off. Like WTF???? Not even gonna have me sign off on it??????

Was a signature required for delivery? If not, he did his job.

Just watched a news clip on wafb. A bro walked up and took a lady's amazon package. She got it on camera, but you couldn't see the thief's face. Doubt the popo will do anything about it.

Anyone gotten their delivery stolen?

Saw this on the news, why would they have the cameras pointed down below at their furniture? Even if it was aimed higher, they should be placed so that it records the person from the front as they're walking up to the door.

Despite a fence, a gate, and a dog, we used to get packages stolen all the time at my old house. We finally just started having everything delivered to work. I have since moved, and the new hood is much nicer, neighbors even collect each others boxes until neighbor gets home, very nice neighborly neighborhood.

Except for the fricking Klopecks out by the road.

I’ve had one package stolen. It was ~15 dollars worth of amazon stuff, which they replaced the next day no questions asked.

I’ve never had anyone steal a package but I busted a mail lady not delivering packages. I went through several layers of postal workers investigating themselves and telling me I was out of luck before asking the postmaster to come by and watch the videos of nothing being delivered. Several days later, which was about 10-12 days after they were supposed to be delivered, the packages showed up and I never saw the Predator(that’s who she looked like) again.

The exact same thing happened to us last Dec., after filing the complaint the packages appeared at my front door the next day. While at the post office trying to resolve the issue meet a woman from a nearby neighborhood also not getting packages that were scanned in the system as delivered, turned out we had the same mailman. .

Slight derail. My beef is more about getting my time stolen as well as my tax dollars by government employees.

We have had three occasions where a package was signature required and the mail"person" never shows up. Then we get an email saying a delivery was attempted and a card was left. Nope, we were home all day and no note was left. We had to go get the packages at the post office. Lazy bum didn't want to go to the door and get a signature it would seem.
