If an academic thought they could identify the Ark they would do so. It would be a significant boost to their career if they could confirm it was actually Noah's Ark. Even if they were atheist it would be a massive historical find, HUGE.

That ark is in Ethiopia,

If it’s in Ethiopia, the natives have already stolen the rims.

Or, hear me out, it’s a made-up story, and there never was an ark to be found.

Just taking the premise of the article and running with it. Relax a little.

The story of Noah's Ark being on Mt. Ararat has been circulating for decades, and in all that time, nothing conclusive has been discovered other than speculation about it resting there.

Apollo 15 astronaut Jim Irwin made several trips to Mt. Ararat in Turkey to search for the remains of Noah's Ark.

Irwin was one of the few men that walked on the Moon.

Only religion could make an otherwise sane person believe the traditional Noah’s Ark story.

The speculation is that it’s under the Dome of the Rock

I have been inside the Dome of the Rock into a small cave in the Foundation Stone known as the Well of Souls.

No Ark.

There's also a theory it's under Golgotha

I’ve been there too.

No Ark.
