It’s not two weeks of hard labor and then you go on a death march. Take your false equivalencies elsewhere.

Except they’re not ill. They test positive using a test widely know to be directional, and show no symptoms. They are ostensibly healthy, but quarantined.

It’s part of the police powers of the state. The health and safety of the populace.
You realize Texas did this early in the Pandemic, right? They didn’t have a place to go for the people but even healthy, covid free people coming from Louisiana had to quarantine. It was at home but they made non residents stay at a hotel. That’s all this is. It’s just not a hotel. It’s a cheaper alternative and probably safer in terms of containing the spread. And this isn’t a post to come down on the unvaccinated. Only to display that you are incorrect.
ETA: and plus also this is in Australia so what constitution are you referring to?

Secondly, there is no equivalence here.
One side wants to force people to vaccinate. Or choose between vaccinating or losing basic freedom. They are saying "I want the vaccine--and I want to make you take it too".
The other... doesn't care if you get vaxxed or not. You can choose. They are NOT saying "I don't want to take the vaccine--so you can't have it either". They are simply saying: "I dont' want it".
But they are not running around trying to take vaccines away from others.

Anybody ever read up on the experimentation that occurred on individuals in concentration camps during WWII?
What easier way to experiment on people than to round them up in a corral and have eyes on them 24/7.....Obviously a good bit of people did not thoroughly study the Nazi's of the 20th century and their tactics.
