A car accident. When I drive my car, there is always a chance for a wreck to happen. Aka an accident
When you got in your car you knew their was a chance of getting in a wreck no matter how small. Therefore not an accident by this insane definition.

I dont get it either.
Now i may be sterile, or low count from all the pot in college I smoked, but be smart. Dont go around busting a nut in these bitches. Especially if she says, just go in me, I wont get pregnant.

This honestly is low key the biggest TD boom of all time
The actual definitions example sentence contradicts Peckers entire thread. What are the chances

1. You are taking measures to prevent pregnancy (also known as birth control)
Sometimes your threads are gold, sometimes they fail
This one fails

Another way to avoid pregnancy.

You should never have sex with someone you wouldn't want to have a kid with. That's just factual logic. But sex feels great and people are stupid so they do it anyway. Many other species of animals have mating rituals and selective processes that help ensure the best genes are passed on. Humans just run around fricking anything like rodents because we're too stupid and lazy to understand and appreciate the ability to create life.
Absolutely. People are also far too unconcerned about STD's.

by using this logic tell me something that would classify as an accident?
I mean more that you knew there was a 1% chance it could happen and you were having sex, so I don't think you get to use the "accident" card. 1% is still a chance. I like what someone posted earlier and I think a more appropriate term is unplanned.

Choking also isnt an accident
Getting struck by lighting, eaten by a shark, etc etc
None of those are accidents either

A 1% chance ever over years, say my wife has 120 cycles left that means that the chance of her getting pregnant from that time was a .0083% chance or a 1 in 12000 chance. If you do the same thing 12000 times and a different result happens once even though the input was the same would it not qualify as an accident by the definition above you?

sounds like you need a new doctor
and both of you need to read up on numbers

How does a doctor determine if you have a 1% chance of getting pregnant? It bothers me when doctors tell this to patients because there’s no way for them to give an accurate percentage for an individual. Conditions like PCOS and others often resolve after one pregnancy, restoring a woman to normal fertility.

A shite ton of test we paid a ton of money for. Where they go in and do a dye test, blood test, sonograms, etc....

The deliberate cause is not wearing a condom, not using the pill, etc.

Why? Just bang 3 times a day while drinking whiskey

So it isnt a car accident either?
No. One party caused it.
All of your other examples have deliberate causes. Not chewing completely, being outside in a thunderstorm, swimming in shark infested waters....

I was given a really low percent chance of ever getting pregnant naturally. After having our son (via IVF), my OB said you better take this birth control correctly if you don't want another child, I don't care what it took you to have the first. He said they see it happen all the time.
So yea, if I ever got pregnant again, I don't think I could call it an accident. Unplanned, maybe, but not an accident.
Maybe its because people always use the term accident with pregnancy to mean something so negative is why I have a problem with it.
