Half of them can't even spell the school's name to begin with.

360 teaching days. 6,587 fights in 360 days = 18 fights per day in the East Baton Rouge school district.

Google shows 81 schools in EBR Parrish. If all the math is correct, that’s really not a lot. I assume when little 11 year old Johnny punches another kid once and gets sent to principal’s office, that’s a “fight”. Correct?

Is that the number of write ups for each individual or is the actual amount of fights?

State says there must be 180 teaching days per year.
Parishes can have more but must have the minimum of 180 .

So 6587 by 180 equals 37 per day.

If there are 60 schools then 60 by 37 is 1.6 fight per school each day.

I would also venture forth to claim that the majority of these fights take place in the middle schools.

How could any parent send their kid to ANY Baton Rouge public school is something I will never understand. There are so many private school options available, parents must feel GUILT.

How could a parent, in good conscience, be ok with their son or daughter interacting with this bottom segment of our society?

That’s all wrong. It say two years. So double the amount of school days in your math. Plus, are they counting summer school? And google says 81 schools in EBP. So probably closer to one per week.

People who fight almost always lack the social skills and more than anything the verbal skills to communicate, and so resort to violence to get their points across. It is no great wonder that where you find the lower educated, you will also find fights, violence, uncontrolled rage, and a pack like mentality.

Like a colony of feral cats, no home life to speak of, fending for themselves in the wild most of the time, and violence is the standard.

81-60 = 21 private school options.
Parents should be ashamed of themselves not to use the private school options that are available.

I’d bet a lot of money that 75% of those fights are black chicks.

Seriously how dumb can you be? Do you realize that not everyone can afford to pay $12K+ to send their child to school K-12?

Don't blame the kids. They have no clue.

But when those kids have kids they become the parents. So, when/how does it end?

Many can afford it and choose not to because it would require them to give up something.
Shame on them.
