Actually it is pretty similar at the top to the salaries I can find for Wichita, KS, roughly the same size as New Orleans. However, Wichita has 64 employees making over $100k, so they're not as bloated.

I would venture a guess that people in private industry in charge of multiple facilities, a large inventory of items and probably a couple hundred employees would get paid at least this much. (not taking into account benefits)
If someone has an idea what a similar job in private industry would pay please share, I am curious.
