I'm hoping that old GMC has the 305 V6. Very unique motor.

Ford > GMC

The GM interiors are far, far superior to Ford. It's not even disputable.

Nah, GM has been putting out a superior product since the 2015 revamp.

The hardest part about driving a Ford is telling your parents that you're gay.

Like my esteemed colleague, Jim Beam said: for 2 years. 2017 is coming like a freight train

Cool looking old '55 right there. I'd tool around in that truck for a weekend or so. Would retrofit with an AC though.

I'm not sure you understand what the word superior means?

I just had a 2017 Expedition Platinum as a rental for the past 3 weeks. The interior was pretty cheap looking and that Ecoboost seems like a bunch of hype. At 17 mpg, you might as well get the V8 and forego the turbo lag.

That was my F250 and explorer at 100k-110k miles.

JD Power reliability score

GMC 4 out of 5
F150 3.5 out of 5M

I have an ugly Nissan Titan with 125k trouble free miles so far so I don't have a dog in GM vs Ford fight but JD Powers seems to think the GM is pretty good.

I used to be #neverFord but all the new trucks seem great to me. That new Dodge with the 4 wheel independent suspension drives like a dream and doesn't look too bad.

So GMC paid more money to JD Power than Ford. Ok.

If you say so. I have no idea.

I do know that the GM vs Ford pissing match is dumb.

I do like the interior in the GM SUV's over the Expedition but for me, in the trucks the Ford gets the nod. I have a new f150 but will be probably buying the wife a Denali when her Q7 lease is up in April.

This. Even the King Ranch interior is brought down by the cheesy looking air vents and silver trim. And way too much chrome, I don't care for it on the Denali, but at least on the All Terrain edition there is little to no chrome. Same goes for the Silverado.
