At 17 mpg, you might as well get the V8 and forego the turbo lag.

I had an 11 f150 with the 5.0 and now have a 16 with the Ecoboostah. I find the new one has more grunt in the right RPMS. Seems like i had to rev the V8 more to get it to go. I am used to turbo lag though from owning a bunch of turbo cars over the last couple years.

The EcoBoost actually makes its peak torque well below the 5.0. The EcoBoost hits its stride right around 2500 rpm whereas the V8 doesn't really come to life until about 3500-4000 rpm. The V8 does make more torque right off idle, though. I'll give it that.

This. Even the King Ranch interior is brought down by the cheesy looking air vents and silver trim. And way too much chrome, I don't care for it on the Denali, but at least on the All Terrain edition there is little to no chrome. Same goes for the Silverado.

Shut your mouth, you philistine.

King Ranch >>>>> ALL

I found most of the 2016 KR I looked at had a chrome package on them that I did not like with the chrome bumper ends etc. You can get them with the painted bumpers and they look a lot better IMO. I think the chrome package also some with the ugly arse chrome tailgate piece. (which I hate about my platinum and am thinking of a way to get rid of)

That was one thing that drove me crazy. When the light hits the interior chrome at the right angle, it blinds the shite out of you. And since there's so much chrome in there, it happens at all times of the day.

Well, in Ford's defense, the King Ranch wasn't meant to be driven by pussies.

Well, they'll be happy because I was driving a Platinum Expedition, not a King Ranch. Do you work for Ford or something? You seem to get awfully defensive about Ford critiques.

You mean the brushed aluminum? What would you rather it be, more plastic?

A few years ago, but the newest GMC trucks are the best on the road.

Had a '15 Tahoe leased through work. Easily the quietest vehicle I've ever been in. No road noise at all.

Yeah, I have a new Sierra Denali with a 6.2. Best truck I tested and it wasn't close.

Yea that's a great looking truck, and normally I'd prefer the old truck to the new..but give me that new truck, Id drive the heck out of that Sierra Denali.

GMC trucks are like those fruits who do well in interviews but end up getting fired because their brains stop functioning after their first pay check.

Neat. Mine is doing just fine. It's more comfortable than the Fords, and the engine is the best available.
