You should be able to apologize and issue corrections, but not delete. If a tweet is corrected or retracted, the first thing one should see is a list of all the prior tweets that were retracted.

Do I think it's silly to lump them all together as some sort of monolith when they are diverse as the peoples of Europe, Africa or Asia? Sure.
Do I think it's ridiculous to act like they were living together peacefully and not constantly warring on each other like the peoples of Europe, africa or Asia? Also yes.
Do I have any collective ill will against them in a modern sense. Not at all. I've enjoyed the company of the ones I've known and like most have a little injun blood in me.

It's not difficult to understand. The kid did nothing wrong, even if he was 100% Anglo, Irish, German, French, Scottish, etc.
Saying "Ah, but he's actually Native American" adds to the narrative that "wyppipo can't do that, but [insert applicable racial or ethnic minority here] can."

Crain and Co. had a segment called “Get Off My Lawn” today where a guy absolutely obliterated this cocksucker for this. It was really well written, and I wish I had a transcript. I’ll link it and hope it starts at the right time, but it starts around 37:45 and only lasts a few minutes. But one of the things he kills him on is for turning off the comments. Says if you’re gonna go that hard in the paint (pun intended) with that kind of take, you damn well better have the balls to stand behind it and defend it in the public square and open yourself up to the backlash, humiliation, and all the things that come along with publishing something so goddamn obviously stupid.
And I know he didn’t invent the phrase, but he said something that is so true—“The demand for (liberal) outrage over this kind of bullshite has greatly exceeded the supply, so they have to create it where it doesn’t actually exist.”
And it ends with him talking about a comedy film they just did about the absurdity of a a group of men who decide to enter a women’s basketball tournament and just dominate. Looks hilarious and is spot on. Comes out Friday. Worth a watch for sure.
