Fiction.

Zimbabwe is 144th and is nearly 100% homogeneous racially.

ETA:

In fact, the bottom 15 aren't very racially diverse at all

In that case, tribal diversity? Much bigger factor in Africa than race.

It's pretty amazing that Syria is mired in ruthless civil war that is tearing the country apart and it's still ahead of six other countries.

"The Happiness Report?" So a "report" on a subjective emotion, based on extremely weighted methodology. Where is there any scientific evidence that "social support" equates to happiness? If that were the case, inner city USA is goddamn Disneyland.
If any tax payer monies go into this imbecilic "study,"we should riot.
Or just mock the spit out of anyone dumb enough to take it seriously.

Norway, last year's winner, came in second place in the 2018 report. It's followed by Denmark, Iceland and Switzerland.

Perhaps we should try using that information on our immigration posters.

It's obviously the result of their dirt being worse than ours. Their countries would be much happier if they were filled with magic dirt from Scandinavia or the US.

Although in the proverbial OT 9+ utopian range, I have my doubts that this girl is Scandanavian.

This "Happiness" metric probably ends up having some relation to overall innovation, output and productivity.
