Our scheduling/shipping guy had two hot trucking company reps in his office meeting with them and all the sudden someone rips off a loud fart. The owners son had one of the remote controlled fart sound machines, he taped it under our scheduling guys desk, waited until they were meeting and set it off.
We had a new kid on board ship in the Navy named Colors, 18 fresh out of WV. We were balancing the cash after payday in the office and I say "shite I'm out of Fallopian tube, Colors run down to medical and tell the petty officer **** needs a foot of Fallopian tube." He runs down to medial and asks for it, well they proceed to tell him they were out and sent him to dental, he goes to dental and asks for it, and playing along they sent him to Supply to ask for some.

A coworker and I were working in a server room (like 65 degF doing computer coding work). We had a small battle going where we would mess with each other's chair or computer when the other left the room.
The ice machine in the kitchen dumped sheets into the bin and sometimes they didn't break into individual cubes. One day I duct-taped a sheet of ice (roughly a dozen cubes worth) under the desk. He walked in, put on his jacket and sat down to work.
After around 30 minutes, he's chilly and really bundling up tight. He rolls back in his chair and starts talking to me and there is a big wet spot on the thigh of his pants. He kind of glances at the bottom of his cup and wipes off the condensation before going back to work. This same sequence happens about 30 minutes later and he realizes that the puddle on his pants is going past his knee so he starts looking around. Finally he finds the tape under the desk with maybe 4 cubes remaining.
I love that one, especially since it's Arkansas week and he's a hog fan.

When I was 18 I got a job at BR Coca Cola doing preventative maintenance(changing oil and stuff) on the company vehicles. I was learning how to do oil changes and diesel filter changes on the 18 wheelers and one of the mechanics use to yell at me jokingly not to get air in the lines "changing them filters." So i would always rev the engine high to prevent air in the lines. One day that mechanic hooked an air hose to an empty anti freeze bottle while I was changing the oil and filters on a new truck and threw it under the truck when I was done. When I got in the truck to crank it up and he yell's "rev it up good to keep the air outta the lines but if it makes any clatter sounds shut it down quick, you don't want to blow it up." So I cranked it up and rev'd the shite out of it and he turned the air on and the anti freeze bottle exploded under the truck and I shite my pants trying to turn the truck off
Those frickers laughed their asses off

Coming back from deployment my buddy bought his wife a photo album. I had extra storage lockers so I let him put some of his shite in them. On the way back across the Atlantic a few of us took pics of our cock and balls, printed them out, and put them in the photo album then wrapped it back up in the plastic. He said his wife really enjoyed her gift.

There is a website where you can prank call someone and you get to decide what number shows up on their caller ID. You also get to choose what type of message is delivered. I chose "cat facts" where it tells the person they have signed up for a daily cat fact call and to disable they need to say cancel which of course doesn't work.
For a month straight at 4pm I would call my manager using the phone number of a girl I work with. We were in Lafayette and he was in Baton Rouge. He would scream at the phone (it was recorded so I could listen back) and then call my female co worker everyday for a month. She swore she wasn't calling and that she must have a virus on her phone. It was so hard to contain myself sometimes I had to go outside. I even did it once when they were sitting across the table from each other. I'll never forget the looks of anger and confusion.
I let him in on the prank the day I turned in my 2 week notice.

- Saving someone's screen as an image and replacing their background image with the image of their screen then hiding their icons..
- putting tape on the bottom of people's mouse (unless they still use a mouse with a ball). Its always fun to hear someone call IT because their mouse isn't working.
- A story I remember someone telling me. This guy told me there was a new guy on the job and it was his first week, he asked how to call IT and someone told him 99 11 (9 to dial out). He calls the number 9-911 and started telling the operator his problem but then quickly realized he called 911.
- Its always funny when people make up shite they need ordered, if the person doing the ordering isn't experienced. shite like sky hooks. I was in a guy's office once when he told the person, with a straight face "oh we also need camo spray paint, tell them its used to hide the wiring on my design".

One of my co-workers accidentally left himself logged onto a computer work station one day. Well, it just so happened that the agency I work for was looking for a program manager for the LGBT program and you guessed it...

I'm system admin for about 14000 users.
If someone forgets their password more than once in a week, I change their username from their first initial/last name to something of my choosing.
Today's victim is named Slagathor33. With a 9 digit numeric password.
Not really a prank, just subtle revenge.

We taped party balloons to the Drive-thru speaker at a McDonald's. Then added a sign that said "Please wish the Manager - Bob - a happy birthday!".
Then we sat in the parking lot with a 12 pack and had some laughs.

I work in a lab and there is a drawer full of common stuff everyone needs. This guy put a big 6V battery in it and connected to the handle. It was a shock to see people open it.
