Loads of money in construction equipment, you baws would be sick if you found out what some people pull down at a cat or Volvo dealer.

I’m not saying restaurant kitchens are freaking sterile. I’m saying they at least are cleaned and disinfected to at least some degree in a daily basis. That is more than can be said of surfaces and items in a retail store like JC Penny or Macy’s. And while only a handful of people are in that restaurant kitchen there are far more people coming into contact with everything in retail stores.
It’s not that kitchens are all that clean, it’s that retail stores are far more filthy than you are realizing. And if those can be open, then restaurants can be as well.

And it makes me wonder if you've actually be in a salon or barber shop. They're doing more than cutting hair. They're waxing, doing manicures, facials, etc

And I’m not a mechanic. I’m a product support rep for Cat. For some reason that bothers 08.

Lolz. Restaurants are still doing to go. Someone else is cooking your food. How is them boxing it up so much worse than bring it to a table in the restaurant...

What do all these Governors have against 2 for 1 and skillet queso at Chili’s with the boys.

Restaurants can be open, you just can't eat inside one yet. I'd imagine they'll be in the next phase of openings in a couple of weeks if we don't see a spike in cases.

You’re very right. I know field guys who clear six figures a year.

It isn't.
Why do you people keep thinking I'm advocating for them to still be closed?

If this were true you wouldn’t be making an arse of yourself here. And it’s not even for the first time. You’ve already died on this stupid hill before more than once.

Why are you changing your tune now? You heavily implied these places were cleaner than "to some degree" when you said I live in a shithole place of half arse cleaned restaurants.
I guarantee you retail stores are cleaner than most kitchens in operation. This isn't even about covid, this is year round since the dawn of time. A lot of people would stop going to some of their favorite places if they really saw the kitchens.
None of that means they should stay closed. Consumers can make the decisions whether they want to eat there or not. Covid can't even be transmitted through food IIRC so the issue would be about a sick person working or dining in the restaurant. Which is no different than in a grocery store.

Not that I disagree with them being deemed "essential" but it was amusing 5-6 weeks ago City/County of Denver started the stay at home order with liquor stores/dispensaries non-essential. There were giant lines and chaos outside both. 3 hours later they were essential.
Day or two later when state order came down they were all included, plus guns.
Just amusing on it's face how you can't get, say a needed hip replacement or dental procedure, but can can shop freely in cramped liquor store and buy weed.

I don’t know why you’d lie. But the fact that you mock anyone who works in the earthmoving heavy Equipmemt industry shows your ignorance. Like I said, you’re making an arse of yourself and I’m not the only one who sees it. What’s even worse is you do this like every other week on this exact subject.
