in Alabama you can go get you teeth cleaned,
Probably not much of that really going on anyways

Dentist lobby > Barbershop lobby

It's Alabama. Not many people will be going to the dentist.

Not getting your teeth cleaned or checked can lead to other health issues.
Not getting a haircut doesn't cause health issues outside of mild depression.

It's just a start. Needed more, but I don't think it will be long before she finally lifts all the lockdowns

My dentist and hygienist always wear glasses, gloves, a mask and a face shield.....
My barber....not so much

The awareness is not there. There has been AIDS spread through dental work so, yes, the ability to keep it clean is better.
How many?
Not a lot but there is a path for infection that makes Dentists a lot more aware than barbers. And folks in Dentisty are USED to this and are trained for this. I do not think barbers should be closed but they are not equal to dentists is dealing with infection.

The irony of an Alabama man not understanding that dental hygiene is more important than a haircut is amazing.

Well he's a bulldozer mechanic so I wouldn't expect much out of him

The risk isn't exclusive to covid. Restaurant kitchens are nasty all the time. Much easier to get sick there than from buying clothes.
I'm not saying they should stay closed, I'm explaining that there is logic behind it unlike what Darth thinks.

A dentist office likely has the appropriate PPE already on hand to deal with contact with someone who may be sick.
And it makes me wonder if you've actually be in a salon or barber shop. They're doing more than cutting hair. They're waxing, doing manicures, facials, etc. But likely without good PPE.

It still stings that I make more money than you I see.

Does make me wonder of Docs are not going to be called on overcrowded waiting rooms from overbooking.

Mine sent an email this morning. They're not allowing anyone in the waiting room. They make you wait in the car and they text you when it's time to come up, and they tell you to wash your hands in the bathroom right outside their office. They are also asking everyone to wear a mask until they get to the exam room chair.
The entire process is as contactless as possible.

I can’t downvote your twice so I’ll have to reply twice.
This was a horribly dumb take.
