I know a lot of venues are card only (Red Rocks is one)
if OP wants to spend cash he should go to any non-white, non-'murcan owned business, they love cash! and have a aversion to paying taxes too

I don’t know of any place that refuses cash especially retail or restaurants

There's a bbq restaurant near me that only takes cash

Can you pay for a major brand hotel room in cash?
Yes you can, but you have to let them swipe the card for incidentals.
Guy I knew was cheating on his wife. He had a system where he would pay for the room in cash, but he had to swipe his card. It doesn't get billed unless you run up additional charges. Guy stepped out for about an hour to deal with something and was unaware that his paramour got a drink out of the mini-bar. Wife ends up opening the bill for the $12. He was busted.

False
New convenience store concept here in Houston by 7-Eleven called 7NOW.
You can only order through their app. You can't go inside the building. They will come out and give it to you or you can order through door dash/Uber eats. That's it.
It's basically a little warehouse inside. It saves them money to not have to make the building looks as nice it allows them to keep more inventory in stock by not having that public space, and it means no cash on site to rob.

Private businesses are not required to take cash by law.
So what’s the point of calling it legal tender? At least you can physically hold cash.
Online assets can vanish like a fart in the wind.

I used to own a dry cleaner business, I was one of the few white 'murcans in the trade, and maybe the only one that reported all income and paid my share, all of the other injuns, azns, lebanese, whatever, were the biggest cutthroat cheaters in the game, pretty disgusting if you ask me

If you’re a business that gets broken into frequently it’s a good deterrent for merchants in larger cities they are eating the fees to get less robberies when crime is crazy and cops take forever to respond this is why some businesses switch to no cash

Yeah the IRS is pretty disgusting.

That will change when we enter the forthcoming recession

agree, but do you like paying your share and theirs too? because their racket of tax evasion is probably bigger than the mob ever aspired to be

Hate to break it to you, it’s not a war on cash, it’s a war on theft…
Employees can’t steal credit card transactions..
Only places I’ve ever been forced to use a credit or debit card was at sports venues…

If i go eat and they dont take cash then they are shite out of luck. I will just leave cash on the table and walk out.

Nobody is required to take cash at the federal level. The U.S. government says it is legal tender and MAY be accepted for all debts. States can make laws about it and in many places, cash can be refused provided that notification is made before the transaction begins. If not, cash must be accepted.

I’m seeing more and more places charge extra for using a card so your premise is horse shite.

The tax rate isn't adjusted based on any kind of budgeting needs. Your taxes have nothing to do with mine. The government spends what it wants with fake money and use the tax system as a means to punish its enemies.
It makes me mad that I pay taxes, but not that someone else is taking the risk to avoid them.
I direct my anger at the taxing body, not my neighbor who is doing something to subvert it.
