I would say any caliber above .22lr that has a magazine that carry's an excess of 10+ rounds.

Yep. They'd have had to shoot me to keep me from going in. Or tackle and handcuff me, like they did with some of those parents.

I just cannot understand adults who will not put themselves in harms way to protect children.

That's quite telling, isn't it? The left wing isn't honorable about anything, everything is simply an opportunity to advance their agenda including those kids in that school. It's revolting

Seems to be the go tactic to push the blame elsewhere but the people that push this line will be the first to bitch and moan about their tax dollars being spent there

I just pray that this is a fu*ck*ng wake up call for law enforcement all over the nation.

I mean, what did they THINK the gunman was there to do?!!

Completely backwards logic.

If you cannot put the innocent lives of those you should be protecting before yours, then get the damn hell out law enforcement. There are plenty of other jobs that pay better anyway.

So I’d say in actual school mass shootings, under 150 children have been killed in our history.

Since Columbine, the number is 169. So that's 169 killed at schools in the past 23 years.

Firearm related injury is now the leading cause of death in people under 19 in America in 2020.

45,000 people were killed by firearms in America in 2020.

While the whole "its not the tool" argument has some merit. The problem is that the tool in question makes killing far easier than any other tool out there.

America has a gun problem.

If by refinement you mean full repeal of the NFA and less threat of prosecution for justified self defense, then sure.
Is that what I said? Did you read anything I said?

I am much more concerned about illegal voting across this nation than people between the ages of 18-21 legally purchasing firearms whereby undergoing a federal background check allowing said purchase.
I agree with you honestly but that doesn't change that I also think this loophole could be closed. I can walk and chew gum.

I also don’t think it’d stop these mass killings.
While you're right, it doesn't mean to ignore a legal issue that should be addressed.

I don't know, I hope it's the last though.

I did read it. it's squishy gives to the frothy gun grabbing ret**ds.

So then I said that the only refinement that needs to happen is a relaxation of the stupid gun legislation that got us into this mess.

Much of which(gun free zones etc) was written, sponsored, or cosponsored by the demented opposum in the oval office.

Look up those shootings. Most are a fight between two kids where one shoots the other. I do t consider that in the same breath as a mass shooting psycho situation

FUDD.
Yeah you would have to ignore everything else or you might accidentally read where I said I support the production and sales of all assault weapons to law-abiding citizens above 21. Also support and encourage competent educators to have the right to carry.

But yeah, ignore everything, boil it down to 2 sentences and then post a cute little acronym that you and your butt buddies like to use on the internet when your talking about how cool you and your guns are lol.

fricking range weekend warriors.

The Parkland shooter legally purchased an AR under the age of 21 IIRC. I believe Florida also changed the legal age to buy one in the state in response.

The gun issue is like putting a bandaid on a gushing wound. Why not address the real underlying problem instead?
I'm not going to argue that we shouldn't be funding mental wellness. I never said that.

It isn't going to fix the problem. But we at least don't make it legal for teenagers with mental issues to buy AR-15's and slaughter children.

The smartest thing the NRA could do would be to get on the forefront of this and create the mental health screening, be proactive and be involved, if they don't agree with the screening then don't stamp it. But if the NRA agrees with a mental health screening test and comprehensive style background check that doesn't effect everyday law abiding citizens then we eliminate over-bias from the left.

Also want this stated- 18 year olds can legally carry but not purchase the weapons, meaning someone would have to buy it for you, essentially making them liable.

I think the best case that could be made is to arm teachers The vast majority of teachers don’t want to come armed to their classrooms. It’s one of the dumbest ideas out there.

Nobody wants to force teachers to arm. We want to allow teachers that feel confident In handling a firearm to go through extensive training and qualify to have a gun in their classroom. Preferably in a biometrical locked safe like a fingerprint safe.
