Louisianais losing people to Texas. Not a real culture shock

Mississippi is weird. It's losing roughly the same amount of people to La, Texas, Tenn and Alabama. Real adventurous folk right there

Oh I thought we were talking about quality of life. Have fun shoveling snow and dealing with all that bullshite 6 months/yr without the scenery and winter sports involved with mountains - makes you a real hardass!

I’d say Texas is too low, as is Colorado.

Louisiana is too high.

Muh politicians

Short of a benevolent, brilliant dictator, nothing substantive is getting done to make this state competitive nationally. why just blame the politicians and not the people that keep them in power? what's more - what do they have to work with? The talent pool in this state is sad

Explain this then.
quote:

The happiest five cities are all in Louisiana, with Lafayette taking the crown (Louisiana is also the happiest state). The unhappiest cities, after New York City, are St. Joseph, Mo.; South Bend, Ind.; Erie, Penn.; and the Evansville, Ind.-Henderson, Ky. area.

New Jersey at #12 invalidates this whole list.

Yeah I can’t take any list seriously that has 38 states ranked below New Jersey.

Minnesota at #3 is ridiculous.
