I pass by no less than 10 gas stations on my way to work. Same number on the way home and it takes me about 10 minutes to fill it 100%. Can you golf cart driving baws say THAT?
They all have a gas station at home, how many ICE baws have an unlimited supply of gas at home?

I don’t think you’re getting the point.
We don’t have to stop to fill up and it take 15 seconds to “fill” our cars. We wake up and go. We get home and take 15 seconds to plug in the car and wake up and do it again.

I don’t need to. My truck gets 600 miles per fill up and I can easily bring along an additional 200 miles
99 percent of my drives are less than 15 miles.

Maybe so, but us ICE baws still have farther range than you.

That’s why you have both.

It’s the golf cart of the side-by-side world. Not special

It’s kind of impressive that the Tesla model Y starts at around 47k and the carolla starts around 23K. You would expect the top selling car worldwide would be an inexpensive car.

If you can’t recognize that the features that Tesla is offering are technologically top of the line, i fee sorry for the 3 brain cells you have left.
The only thing worse than an EV is the smug pricks that extoll the virtues of said EV's.
If you want an EV, go buy one. But don't get the government to make the EPA regs such that everyone is forced to buy one eventually.
If the EV tech is so great, it should stand on its own and rise to the top of the marketplace on its own merits.

I never said the EV part was so great. I said all the tech included in teslas, specifically, was.

I feel like we're skipping a step in the process of creating EVs. What I mean is there a frickton we gotta learn and I thought the answer should be hybrids to continue battery research and this newer tech. Besides even if the engine becomes a "charger" for a battery maybe there's not huge influx in fuel usage if the components are using the battery. I get towing would have the greatest impact but that's how you figure out how to workout the current kinks. Politicians and this damn virtue signaling world are stupid and it's obvious. frick it they're straight retarded.

Might want to read the thread title again.

Those cars you mentioned have been on the road for longer than Tesla’s.

Yes...EV supporters on a college football message board are completely behind this

Rented a car last weekend. The only thing on the lot we were assigned were 4 EV's. Us, and the other family that were looking for a car, said "Nope" and took an ICE from the upgraded lot. If we hadn't been headed to the Eastern Shore of MD, we may have been ok with an EV, but knowing how sparse gas stations in general, much less charging stations, are, there, it was a no-go.

You did what a lot of people on this board cannot do and that is make an objective decision based on your needs. You even failed to mention government incentives as the reason you hate EVs

Electric cars are cool and useful, electric trucks are the worst possible thing to ever come out of the auto industry. I’m fine with electric cars and crossovers, electric trucks will ruin our country.

Whooo hoooo… my portfolio is mostly TSLA shares and options. Kicked arse today.

Same here. We already have great recharging capabilities with an internal combustion engine, it is called gasoline or diesel. You go to the station whip out your credit card and put 10-30 gallons of this magic fuel made by science of decaying earth matter and manmade chemicals in a vehicle’s tank and you can drive another 400-600 miles in 5 minutes or less.
No need to have to carve up half the earth to mine enough lithium to build a battery. Or wait 45 minutes to an hour to charge up the battery using a supercharger, or even longer when using conventional chargers at home. No need to search for a fast charging station when the battery is low as gas stations are fairly common even in remote stretches of Texas. And if you do run out fuel, fuel is portable, you can put it in a can and take it to a vehicle and remotely refuel the vehicle when you are not near a gas station.
Burning gasoline or diesel is cleaner than ever with advancements in catalytic converter technology most of the exhaust from burning fuel is converted into water vapor and carbon dioxide which plants need anyway.
Fuel a new appreciation. Screw electrical vehicles.

Probably because Corollas have been around a lot longer than model Ys. You are one of those people that is just too stupid to have a conversation with.
