The speaking dialect of saying yeah, after everything like in Succession

Just got done watching succession and I noticed throughout the show all the Roy’s seemed to use use the term “Yeah” excessively. It really reminds me of some sort of Canadian dialect but maybe that’s common in the NE. Has anyone ever heard people speaking like that ?
In case you haven’t ever watched Succession it’s kind of like this.
We are doing this, Yeah?
We have got this, Yeah.
Yeah, I am good now. Etc

It is about dominance. They are making it clear that they are not engaging in conversation but lecture or complex. It is completely rhetorical and disingenuous. I’ve researched this a fair amount because I’m in upper management of a top 100 company and this is rampant. “Right” is the most prevalent and it drives me up the wall.
