The additional costs of living in the north are simply the price to be paid so we do not have to live in the south.
Why do you think a ribeye is more expensive than some top round? Because better quality costs more

have posted on here many times that the conservatives in states like Texas and Florida should recruit people because businesses are moving south... But they need to have a major marketing push pointing out that people should leave their left leaning politics where they left, because THAT is the reason they are leaving.

But hold up. Now, you're right, there's a trend or impression we're importing from Left states. But you know what we're really good at over here in Texas? Importing MEX and SA labor period. We allow them in and companies put them to work. Don't let the narrative fool you. Hispanics build this state and the TX economy, full stop. Have since the 90s honestly (well before but they werent as bold re: visibility). It's a gigantic and interesting conversation to have if people here want to suspend a Build The Wall bias. A welfare or anchor baby bias. Texas and the SW allows it. Not. Kidding.

And then all of those Millennials and Gen Zers move to the south, vote for lefty politicians and ruin a good thing we've had growing. Look at what the transplants to Atlanta have done to Georgia.

Its funny all we hear about is how shitty Louisiana's economy is until we start talking about people moving here that vote "librul". Then they are gonna ruin the fantastic economy we got going down here.

I don’t want any more people from California, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Washington, Oregon or Illinois coming to the south.

I’m totally ok with people going from Alabama to Louisiana and vice versa. We need to keep the regional border closed. These people aren’t welcome down here and we don’t want them.

They come down here with their rude entitled mentality. They drive the prices up. Their food sucks. Their music sucks. They drive like assholes. They don’t know ball. That’s for sure. If you’re not from a founding member SEC state then keep your arse away

If dude thinks the south sucks except for Texas, Florida and Georgia, then Georgia sucks just as much as the others. They're all relatively the same.

because it lowers labor costs for the elite/corporations and they've been able to psyop most people into thinking it's good for everyone because of taco restaurants, "Christian values", and a "hard working" culture.

TX, FL, GA, NC, TN far outpace the rest of the bible belt in education, GDP, healthcare, per capita income, and welfare rates. That's really not debatable. These are also states who have taken on a ton of transplants.

You understand companies needing trained, professional employees don't find those people in MS, AR, AL, LA, OK, MO, SC, etc., right? That's why those states are drawing in so little industry. The transplants come first, then the businesses follow.

The South is already the most populous and economically strong region of the U.S. The only part of the South that isn't exploding in growth is Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, West Tennessee, and Arkansas (except for NW Arkansas) - the Deep/Mid South. Everything else is really on fire.

If we can get those 4-4.5 states to get their act together, the South would far outpace every other part of the country economically and in population.

There needs to be an intervention with those states so they will get their act together. The South can't rise again with dead weight pulling us down.

I was living in a new subdivision here in Alabama and the last four houses purchased were people from Virginia, Texas, Colorado and Ohio.

I know several transplants from up north including my new neighbors who are flaming libs, albeit very nice people.
The ones from NY are very conservative however.
