He may have the same problem I do, it’s my wife (no pics) who keeps hitting the snooze.

ETA She does not hit the crack pipe.

My gf (no pics) sets 5 or 6 different alarms every morning at intervals to allow herself to "wake up slowly" and to keep her "on pace".

It's only a matter of time before I throw that thing right out the window. The phone. Not my gf. Yet.

She won't let you have your own alarm?

You need the runaway alarm clock

Nah, the guy who decided it was a good idea to swipe one way to turn the alarm off and another to snooze is an absolute idiot.

I set 2 alarms. One at 4:30 then next one at 5. When the 5 am one goes off, I turn the lights on and go about my business.

I assume it takes off until you catch it?

I've slept through worse, but that's a solid idea nonetheless.

This is my preferred way to wake up, but I don't out of respect for my SO's sanity.

Every female friend I have agrees with this method. It's crazy.

I usually set multiple alarms too - like up to 4 or 5 over an hour or so. I'm almost certain I'd be better rested if I just used one, but the risk of waking up at 10am instead of 6am is too much.

I did before I bought an actual alarm clock. When I was just using my phone to get up, I set a lot. Now I have the clock located where I physically have to get up, walk over and turn it off. Since I can't just roll over and accidentally turn it off without effort, it allows me to just use the 2

Heard a comedian talk about this the other day.

“Do you think the guy who invented the snooze button was on time to the morning meeting where he announced the idea?”
