This is my preferred way to wake up, but I don't out of respect for my SO's sanity.

Every female friend I have agrees with this method. It's crazy.

Definitely a woman thing. My wife does it, and she always has at least one set for about 12-15 minutes before mine, which is about an hour after her first one. Then another 5 minutes before my alarm. Then my one goes off (I snooze a few times), but hers goes off between my snoozes.

She also uses two phones. At least one of them is always plugged in by the door instead of her nightstand. She doesn't always hear it.

The first one is always set for stupid times that she never has to be up by. I call them aspirational alarms. I don't think she actually aspires to wake up that early.

I'll stop now before my craziness over this comes out.

I'd divorce her for "irreconcilable differences" over that.

My gf (no pics) sets 5 or 6 different alarms every morning at intervals to allow herself to "wake up slowly" and to keep her "on pace".

My roommate in college would put his alarm on the floor in the middle of the room where he would have to get out of bed and walk about ten feet to turn it off.

He still would hit the snooze, turn around, and walk back and get in bed. Repeat over and over.

I'm not sure if it would be morning one or two that that thing got shot.

He may have the same problem I do, it’s my wife (no pics) who keeps hitting the snooze.

It's the fricking worst. How about you set an alarm at the time that you want to wake up, then wake up when the fricking alarm goes off? How does it make sense to set it for an hour before you want to wake up, then hit the fricking snooze 5 times?

Yes, I'm raging while typing this

Stop setting an alarm. You will wake up and get out of bed when you need to. One of the best changes I ever made in my life. No more dreadful noise, rush to make it stop, and counting down the seconds until it happens again to start my day.

I don't set an alarm, my wife sets enough for both of us. She has to get up about 15-30 minutes before me, but starts her alarms about an hour before that. Luckily, I typically just sleep through them, but it pisses me off when it wakes me up.

I have a few peccadilloes of my own I'd rather not have to convince another person to accept at this point.

It's funny how you never seem to oversleep an important time. If I'm going fishing, I wake up 10 minutes before the damn alarm.

If I have an important meeting, same thing.

If it's a random Tuesday, I'm liable to wake up mid morning.

Woke up late as shite this morning. Wife (no pictures) leaves early AF for work and didn't set her alarm for me. This left me with my 2 iPhone alarms. The problem with iPhone alarms is if you don't hear them, the alarms basically turn themselves off once both should be going off at once. Not a very helpful feature.

We can blame the fricking morning people for this bullshite. Whoever thought it was a great idea for humans who weren't farmers to be productive at the butt crack of dawn fricking sucked and I hope they suffered a painful death.
