I think students are getting extra credit for crap like this. Had a 1st or 2nd year white female Texas at Austin student try to come into FB group for neighborhood she grew up in and put down neighborhood for racism and not checking our white privilege towards black “folx”. She had to be corrected by a black male neighbor that the term is used by LGBT people not blacks. She then went on to thank who she now called her “black teacher” like she was on bent knees and that we all need to learn from our black teacher (our neighbor). She also went on to edit post to use term “black folk” instead of “black folx” which really didn’t go over any better. She came across like she had joined a cult.
Leftist college students coming back and putting down neighbors while also trying to win over them towards their view on race and election has happened more since Wuhan shut down things including colleges and of course since the summer of Riots than I remember same age group ever posting in past history of the FB group for this neighborhood outside of looking for jobs when home from school for breaks like normal kids.

If they chose not to stand then the university should chose to remove that player(s) from the team permanently
