Probably why they have 15k cases a day.

Guess it all depends on where you stay. Beach wasn’t crowded for us. Even the public beaches to the west weren’t crowded.
Fine by me. Y’all stay home. Less of a wait wherever I go.

Wore my gaiter into Publix per their policy. Saw some people wearing them to go into businesses, some without.

I pity the kids on the beach setting up chairs/umbrellas or shagging cocktails. The masks have to suck.

I live in Orange Beach about 3 miles from FL and I have it. Believe me it is nothing to take lightly. Had it for a week now, can't eat drink and lots of coughing. Worse than any flu. Our beaches have been open and it is everywhere down here. Tourist not obeying any rules. Wish they would close beaches again.

Sorry you’re sick.

Out of curiosity, were you obeying the rules?

One size doesn’t fit all. Two guys I work with who had/have it had hardly any unpleasantries. Depends on the patient.

I am not saying the corona is a myth, but at some point you have to pull the bandaid off and say how do you not get it and just get it to get it over with.

Getting it is not a death sentence. Your chances of death are like under 1 or 2 percent.

Yes there are some people that will have complications, but they are the exception and not the main stream cases.

What is interesting on a side note may be the side effects of catching it and how some people’s bodies react to it.

No shite Sherlock, back a week ago...if incubation is (sorry my bad I’ll update to the current BS) 5-14 days and they were back a week ago...please you do the math for me...what are the chances they 100% got it at the beach...

Again, how is going from their property to the beach an insane chance of catching it? No, they got back from a vacation acting a fool...going out to eat, going to attractions, going shopping, etc. Going to the beach isn’t getting you Covid. Acting a fool anywhere gets you Covid.

Seriously. Our plans are grocery delivery, no attractions / stores, beach, and pool. We are also on the 1st floor, so no elevator buttons. Wash hands, use sanitizer.....

Not saying it’s impossible to avoid, but you can take precautions to minimize your risk. We have done more in BR to be exposed than we will probably do over there.

More people have drowned this summer on 30a then died from Covid. All 11 deaths on 30a from covid have been nursing home related.

I was at the Buc ee’s this morning around 9:00 AM, and holeee shite, it was packed. 120 gas pumps and I had to search to find an open one. The line of traffic waiting to go westbound was crazy.
