I've only been to Raiford's a handful of times, but damn it was awesome. RIP Disco King of Memphis.

I've been Twice. 
Fun place.
It's a Beale Street Thing. Like Razoos or Cat's on Bourbon.

Went there once. Pimp mobile out front, low ceilings with balloons, and only 24 Oz beers sold.

Went once. Remember the beers served in brown paper bags, the low ceilings, the owner dressed like a pimp, and him banging the drum set in the middle of the bar. Good time. Hope it stays open

He was a legend. Raifords is the place to go when you're in Memphis.
