That "man" has said so many things in the past year only to walk it back, or outright deny that he ever said it. It is almost like he is oblivious to the fact that he is being recorded and that there is a record of what he is saying. I find it hard to trust a word that "man" says.

If you're not going to revolt and overthrow the American government, what is your alternative?
If they say once x% of Americans are vaccinated, we can lift restrictions, you really can't complain about restrictions not being lifted if you're not being vaccinated. That's on you, unless you have an alternative that is more than just complaining about it restrictions while being the reason restrictions are still in place.

I just attended a funeral service that easily had over 100 people, probably closer to 150 and I could count on one hand how many people inside the service wore a mask.
Many of the places I frequent today don’t ask or require a person to wear a mask. I try to support these places as much as I can.
Most people just want to get back to “normal.”
