1. Don't point a gun at something unless you're ok putting a bullet in it.
2. Don't put your finger inside the trigger guard unless you're ready to pull it.

So then he's out of the truck already, but moves to the front of the truck to intercept him.
That seems to further the point that he was waiting with firearm in hand to pursue him. That he had to move from the side of the truck to the front as the aggressor.

That's pretty good but you are missing a few.
I still don't see any video or still shot from the video of a gun being pointed at Arbery.

You can hear the gun fire during this still. The shotgun isn't pointed in the air, and you can't see a discharge into the ground like you see later in the video. So, that leaves it being pointed level to Arbery.

Whether the gun is pointed at him or not will likely not matter as its not a requirement to point a gun at someone to commit a felony aggravated assault.
Two civilian men blocking the road ahead with guns in their hands, yelling at you to stop will be enough to reasonably put someone in fear of being violently injured.

If guns were pointed at arbery that is obviously a threatening postion. If the gun is pointed that ground or into the air that is a different position.

If strangers set up an armed roadblock for me and one came around the front of the car with a shotgun, I'd consider that threatening regardless of where the shotgun was aimed.
As I said above, the video does not show the shotgun up or down when the first shot is fired, and the shotgun is in firing position the first time we see it in the video. Regardless of gun position, the McMichaels actions are threatening. It's a question of threatening vs REALLY threatening, IMO.
