That stupidity runs rampant in Ala-Bama.

You mean they dont trust other idiots on the road who pay no attention?

How many of you idiots are getting in wrecks because someone has their flashers on? If this bothers you or you “can’t tell if someone is braking” then you’re just a shitty driver. I don’t ever see threads with people complaining about people driving with flashers on when it is sunny. But occasionally I see people driving with flashers on in the sun. Don’t you? Do you throw a temper tantrum in that scenario too? Rain or shine, it just doesn’t bother me.
It’s against the law genius!

Too bad the LADOTD couldn't come up with a catchy thing to post on their digital signs to tell people to stop doing it.
You mean like posting that it is actually illegal to drive with your hazards on in the rain.
Because it is.

Hazard lights should only be used if a vehicle is disabled in the roadway or on the shoulder. There is no need to use your flashers while driving in the rain. It is actually against #Louisiana law.

Eh, driving 70+ in certain weather conditions can be dangerous regardless of your choice of tires.
When you get those mid-day storms that create whiteout conditions, you sometimes only have like 100-200 feet of visibility or less depending on how the sun is shining. It’s not hard to outrun your visibility in those conditions (meaning your stopping distance is greater than your visibility).
I don’t use my flashers but I will tap my brakes periodically if traffic is moving slow and I’m the last one in line just in case there’s some idiot hauling arse who wouldn’t see me otherwise. Once someone is behind me and I know they can see me, it’s their problem so I just drive normally.
It’s not as big of an issue at night because the tail lights are visible from much farther away when it’s actually dark outside.

The biggest issue for me is no turn signal and someone yanked out in front of me to take an exit proving my point.

I bet you never go 20 over the speed limit. LOL. You know, that is also against THE LAW as you say.

Sometimes it doesn’t bother me, but some of these people have red flashing lights at night, if you look and see a bunch of flashing red taillights ahead, it fricks with you.

It's really no big issue or big deal. But I have to admit that it's fkn' annoying and I find it stupid.

Saw 9 or 10 of em Going East out of Baton Rouge about an hour ago. Between Highland and 73.
One was in the left lane going about 50 mph. Right as we were passing them in the right lane, A black SUV pulled up on his arse and immediately flashed blue lights from the windshield.
Ole boy got over so quick I thought he was going to come all the way into our lane.

Well no, I don’t have to. I have a promod that I drive at the strip when I feel the need for speed. Actually I have two of them. One I’m having the chassis rebuilt so it’s out of commission for the next four months.

Now wait a minute. I don't really get mad if people use their flashers. I just think they're stupid.
But I don't drive 20 mph over the speed limit.

I challenge you to drive Bluebonnet extension less that 20 over the limit.

Hate them it’s dangerous as shite
Posted on 11/25/22 at 7:10 am to Master Guilbeau
They do serve one purpose at least. It clearly identifies the shitty drivers on the road. Helps me stay clear of them.

It’s usually stupid to drive with flashers but I’ll do it when it’s really coming down.
Let me guess, you don’t know how to properly use a zipper merge either.
