Cool. I'm visiting BR soon. Where do I go to see/experience all if this?

Tell us something we don't know ...

I once attempted to deduce the effect of N.S. cultural crossbred through a northern diaspora of the south and east shores. I figured that within 4 generations all will be lost and might as well rename Manadaville as New Metre.

Well I haven't lived there in years, but the have live after 5 downtown on Fridays. Free live music and some cool restaurants downtown like Capital City Grill, Tsunami, Little village, Lucy's retired surfer bar, Happys, roux house, Schlitz and giggles.
You could catch a LSU super regional game if they make it through, visit Mike VI if he is back in his cage, eat at some restaurants around campus, drive through some of the nice garden district neighborhoods like Hundred Oaks area, LSU lakes, Goodwood. You could hit Superior grill for margaritas, Sammys or Mason grill for brunch. Lot of cool museums downtown, as well as museum of natural arts and history, which is like 250 acres in the middle of br that is reserved for farming, artifacts etc.

The northshore is like Denham Springs if everyone in Denham Springs thought they were the shite.

How?
It's houses and chain restaurants.
And overcrowded schools.

If NS is better why do people come across the causeway all day and night to work and play

Try to imagine how much better the Northshore was pre-1985 before the trash from the south shore turned it into Northern Metairie. Mandeville was Veterans Blvd North several years before that but we kind of hoped that the new money goons wouldn't stray past the cheap allure of the lakefront and Beau Chene. We were wrong.
