The LSU lakes took a major hit to the fish population during the drought. The larger one dried up to the point you could walk across it on dry land. The smaller one by the dorms had good fish up until about 2 weeks ago. The dredging killed a lot of the large bass, not sure how many are left
It's the give and take so we can have a nice end of the year break.
Always, and think about my grandfather who loved finding coins. Especially dimes, still hope to find old silver ones like back in the day.

First learned about the site from sidewalk chalk outside of Annie Boyd way back in the early 2000s when people would tag sites to visit. Lurked for many years before making an account.
I have an ascend 133x I picked up on sale for about $800 from baspro a few years ago. Comes in at 13.5 ft and a little over 100lbs with a open design and decent seat. It's great for lakes and some costal fishing. It comes pre wired for setting up a trolling motor and fish finder. I've seen some with small outboard attached also.

As far as size it's big enough to fit 2 small children easily and stable enough to stand and cast. If you really want more Info facebook has a couple of Louisiana based groups that do a lot.
At about 2-3K I could justify this as a reasonable replacement for a lazyboy.
Looking to head down to Lake road to do some fishing and crabbing tomorrow. Anyone fish over the weekend, did the recent storms mess with the salinity?

Todd Graves had a big party at his house by LSU and set off a bunch of fireworks.
The recievers are the only serialed item on the guns. If you buy the lowers together a good FFL will only charge you for 1 item when they do the background check. You can have the uppers shipped to your house with no pproblems. Ar are like adult Legos welcome to the club.

Ive been using some Honeywell ear pro, electronic sound amplifier allows you to hear any movement in the woods and cancels out loud sounds
I've used the LSU dental school in the past, very cheap. I wish the student had stayed local h was very skilled.

Good solid hook attached to a 600 to 700 test black tar line. I use about 30 feet of rope to I can loop around a tree base. Use a decent clip and dangle 2 to 3 feet over water so turtles cant get it. Hook with rotten meat and come back the. Next day. I like a 22mag round, be calm and aim well, it's not like on tv. Electric tape mouth, they will wiggle and move after death. CLEAN WITH BLEACH MIX and soap they are nasty before processing.

I went with putting a trailer hitch on the Suv and got a hitch wreck. Less air drag and more capacity.

unless your to fat to fit under the rear of your vehicle its 4 bolts on wires you pull through the frame. Easy job for 2 people to do.
In the immortal words of Fat Bastard: I can't stop eating. I eat because I'm unhappy, and I'm unhappy because I eat. It's a vicious cycle.
Small fire in one of the new dorms, not an emergency drill.
