DO NOT park at the Premium Parking lot downtown on Camp St... they take advantage of those who think they're buying enough time, and boot people before they're able to get back to their cars.
And if you're able, don't patronize Mitch Landrieu's city since he allows this to go on

Hopefully no New Orleans mayor ever spends a second worrying about parking lots booting cars too quickly. We've got actual issues.

I'm on jury duty. I parked there at around 7:40 in the morning and selected the "juror" option, and it expired at 4:40. Judge didn't let us out till after 5:30. I'm gonna fight it and raise hell. I know I'm not the first one.

This is why I prefer pay after places when I don't know how long I will be.
Those lots are ruthless with the boots. When in doubt get the "all day".

What does Mitch and the city have to do with private parking lots? Those boots are put on vehicles by private companies.

I went to run an errand on Magazine St a year ago and parked my car in some run-down grocery store's empty parking lot for 5 minutes. I get back and the parking lot attendant who had been hiding in his car had already finished putting the boot on my car. I was fricking pissed. Had to pay $90 for that shite. But I learned my lesson. No free parking in NOLA
