Charles Martel, his grandson Charlemagne, Sultan Saladin, and William the Conqueror

William Marshall, the greatest knight who served 4-5 kings and was a signator on the Magna Carta.

William Marshall, considered the greatest knight.

William Marshall
Hell yes! William Marshal is reputed to be the only man to ever unhorse Richard the Lionheart in a tourney. He was both a legendary tourney fighter and warrior. The Marshal and El Cid were still scrapping until fairly late in their lives.
If there were a Mount Rushmore of Medieval Fighters, it could be something like:
1) William Marshal
2) Richard the Lionheart
3) El Cid
4) Robert the Bruce, William Wallace, or another figure

Not medieval. You’re thinking of Genghis Khan

Strictly European and/or Christian?
Charlemagne
Alexios I Komnenos
William the Conqueror
Charles Martel
Honorable mention to:
Alfred the Great
Canute the Great
Casimir III Piast
Innocent III
Otto the Great
Are we adding Middle Eastern and/or Muslim and/or Pagan rulers? Because then you have to consider:
Ghengis Khan
Saladin
Seljuk
Orhan
Mehmed II
Abd Al-Rahaman III
Charlemagne

Sad
It's Friday. After 5:00. Some of us work for a living and enjoy life after work. There's bigger travesties to yell at the sky about than drinking after work.

Emperor Charlemagne

Emperor Charlemagne
His granddaddy, Charles Martel, is the reason that the Umayyad Caliphate did not expand beyond the Iberian peninsula.
ETA: I see this has been covered.
