We all know by know that Charlie never makes contact with the football and that Lucy is a little slut.

I couldn't resist and had to bait the wife (no pics) last weekend... she asked me to put on a xmas show....Apparently she's in the crowd that wrongly believes that Die Hard is not an xmas movie.

This should settle the debate of Die Hard being a Christmas movie

Die Hard is a heist/terrorism movie that takes place during Christmas...

Saying Die Hard is a Christmas movie is the equivalent of The Fugitive being a St. Patrick's day movie.

The fact that Christmas Vacation only took 1 state is a travesty.

Agree. I think the results are of good quality though. I was born in Nebraska and the was my instant thought as favorite upon reading the thread title.

I’m not sure of the OP angle, but Louisiana at 17% of all who were polled was the lowest in the country. The title of the tread is misleading

Home Alone is like Die Hard, just a regular movie set during xmas. Not a legit movie about xmas.

It's like calling Goodfellas an xmas movie.

Scorching take. Christmas is essential to the entire plot. Even the soundtrack heavily relies on Christmas music.

First of all, Die Hard is a Christmas movie. Secondly, Christmas Vacation is not only the greatest Christmas movie of all time, it's one of the greatest and funniest movies of all time. Nearly the entire dialogue of that movie is a classic one-liner.

How did Charlie Brown Christmas make it but Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer didnt? Questionable methodology here.
Also- Scrooged

And yes, Die Hard is definitely a Christmas movie.

Its about a family leaving a kid for Christmas and them trying to get home to him on Christmas, while the wet* bandits rob people of their Christmas presents.

100% a Christmas movie.
