Doesn’t Christianity teach that we should forgive and help those that have fallen off the path of enlightenment?
It certainly doesn’t teach to abandon those who have fallen from grace and toss them out like trash.
Not all religious people are bad but I find those who justify their harsh or intolerant actions by claiming them as their beliefs are usually nuts and some of the worst people you will ever meet.

A couple of weeks after my dismissal from the household, me and my mom had a long sit down talk about things and she forgave me for all that had happened, but I didn't want to go back. I couldn't live underneath her rules anymore, but I don't fault her for laying down the law on me, I needed something like that to happen to straighten my dumb arse up.

My parents would have been more pissed about cigarettes. A lot of lung cancer in my family. I got caught with weed plenty of times
