They don’t make prosecutors like that anymore. If he had tried OJ, the trial would have lasted two weeks and resulted in conviction.
hell, he got a conviction for a murder that was committed in the middle of the south Pacific with very little physical evidence, and no initial charges even filed, iirc

Charlie was a small time hood and con man who found himself in the middle of a bunch of lost kids.
And Charlie used LSD to manipulate his followers.
Probably a coincidence, though.

Sharon Tate was a dime
Certainly was, I’ll never understand why she hooked up with a squid like Roman Polanski.

Jon Benet. Even though it's obvious it was the brother.

Manson did kill more than one person but not the main Tate Labianca crimes. He did go to Labianca and tied them up and then went outside and told the others to go in an kill them.

Its interesting to me that the guy who clearly was responsible for the fast food prank calls was not held responsible for his actions considering the justice that was served to Manson.
Not following.

How this one little man convinced fairly normal young adults to willingly kill for him,
Normal people aren't susceptible to the line of bullshite a con man spews. Manson had a keen sense of who was vulnerable, whether Brian Wilson or some dropout living on the street. Most people did see Manson as some nobody. A weird little man, an ex con loser. But a few bought into his bullshite and that was the problem.
Read about any ponzi scheme and you think to yourself, how did people fall for this? But they do, sometimes very smart people. Good con men can pick the susceptible ones out of the herd.
