You mean you want to post updates on something other than COVID, abortion, politics, New Iberia, or what teenagers shouldn’t wear?

I’d skip the Tail of the Dragon if I were you, especially if you’re planning doing it on a weekend. It use to be fun but now it’s just too crowded.
I believe what Darth is trying to say is “Nobody goes there anymore, it’s too crowded.”

Seconded on going early in the morning.

It will be less crowded.

Have a great and safe trip and TYFYS!

While in Glacier drive up Looking Glass Hwy (literally make sure you drive up the mountain). Not as pretty as Going to the Sun Road but way more intense. Will be amazing in that Porche!

Please update!

Have a bucket list of tracks of my own. Done Barber (you’ll love it), per previous post - do COTA (better than Barber as a track) - any way to squeeze in Laguna Seca?

Awesome plan. I have been all over the world but I don’t think I have road traveled this great country near enough. To do it in a Porsche is bucket list stuff.

Pacific coast highway coming down that west coast would be amazing as well.

Stop in San Francisco to drive down Lombard street.

Visiting my sole remaining Viet Nam bud in Charlotte

My stepdad recently spent some time with one of his army buds from back then. They were roomates back in the day and had gotten in touch on Facebook. My mom and him spent a week with his buddy and wife at their house in South Carolina. They are comkng to stay with my parents in August.

Its been really good for my parents. They had been in a funk and have really become depressed homebodies over the past year. Hope all goes well for you.

Beartooth Pass (aka Beartooth Hwy). Youll be in Glacier so not terribly far from this road. You can start from the North side (southern Montana), stop for a meal in Red Lodge, and ride it south into Wyoming. This will put you at a Yellowstone entrance where you can ride through the Lamar Valley and finish in Bozeman.

Not sure if your travels will take you this way but I’ve always loved the drive from Grand Canyon NP to Zion NP (highway 64 to highway 89).

Will take you past Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyons, and Vermillion Cliffs.

Not sure if you’re an audiobook fan but “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance” is a favorite for highway driving.

Send updates!

Not sure when you're going to be in Birmingham at Barber's but would love to take you out for a beer if you're up for it. Safe travels!
