Boys 18 and 20. Wife and I bring them to the beach. I miss the days of old....sand castles, crabbing, etc. Today, we worry about the girl friends, college starting, etc.
Days went by too quickly.
Here we are.

I have 28, 18, 15-year-olds. Yes, happens quick. Went to beach with my 18- and 15-year-old this year and it was fun, but of course much different than years past, not bad, just different. Miss my oldest being with us.

Going see my first grandchild(daughter is 27)next week. And our oldest son(17) is going finish his last 2 years of HS on his own.
Just me and momma now. That is going to be awesome at times and weird at times.

In a year’s time I will have the following take place.
-22 yr old will have a baby.
-20 yr old will be married.
-17 yr old will graduate.
-15 yr old will get a license.
It all happens so fast.

LOL.
It's my hometown and high school. I went to school with the super, principal and couple of his teachers. So he will be in good hands. Plus, the wife made me put cameras all over the house. And it's only 2 hours from us. I've known several peers and family members who did the same
Also, He gets to be star athlete like his old man :-). That wasn't happening in Humble.

Grandkids will be around in a few years. You will be back to sand castles and crabbing.

Yep.
I have a 21, 16, and almost 14.
Went to a hotel we went to 6 years ago for a quick summer trip before school started and recreated a picture we took back then. Was missing my oldest because she was back at school in Colorado. Left the gap and everything
Someone in the thread said earlier that it’s fun but def not the same. My middle is getting college letters from schools across the country. It’s bittersweet.

I have no idea if I did it wrong or not, but my adult kids still call me when bad things happen. Always bouncing ideas off me or asking for advice. Of course they know I’ll do anything I can to help them within reason. They are all more successful than me in my opinion.

Yep, my baby just turned 11
My oldest moved away last year, and is now 23 years old. #2 will be 21 in September and #3 will be 20 in December.
The other two are 16 and almost 15.
Time flies too fast

I wish.
Bunch of old farts and worry warts. It's not like we are sending him to boarding or military school. He's a good kid and earned our trust. And he will have plenty of family and friends around. It's really not that bad.
He gets to do his Ag thing, hunt/fish as much as he wants. And I get a live in ranch hand.
