For what it’s worth I went to the game and the Iowa fans were polite, respectful, and gracious in defeat

Iowa is racist is frick. I’ve lived in 3 southern cities and none of them are nearly as racist as Iowa was. Place is 93% white and most of them live in small towns where only a handful of black folks exist, if any. They fear what they don’t know.

That’s how they are. They’re genuinely nice and polite people and would never degrade anyone based on race to their faces, but in their trusted circles, they’ll say what they think.
