I worked at the Baskin-Robbins near there a few times. The franchisee owned that one, the one in Denham, the one in Baker and the one at LSU near Blimpis/Murphys. He would send me around to the different locations if they needed help/guidance. My girlfriend lived in the Bellaire area during that time so I once a frequent visitor on that part of Florida Blvd.

Plugs we called him. He treated me fine though. When he got the LSU location he sent me and a few others to clean that place up. It was disgusting. I stayed there but I was a freshmen at LSU and seeing hot, coeds from my classes was a no go. I quit. Hard to be cool in brown polyester pants and orange/pink striped shirts.
