It’s not that women have lower IQs. Male and female IQs are roughly the same. It’s that women naturally gravitate towards non-STEM fields while men gravitate towards STEM fields.

Most of the studies that actually do compare similar jobs in similar fields don't take into account years of experience, average sick days taken or talent and competence into the equation.
The simple fact that is that even if there is a gender pay gap, it's completely justifiable.

That graphic is wrong. I can guarantee there is a large percentage of women in engineering. It never shows up on the graphic.

Are you an environmental engineer?

The graphic is 20 years old. Do you know the new percentages and if so do you have a link to solid source?

They must have cut Sales off at the very top. No worries, it happens.

Hopefully women read this and reward you with sex for defending them on the internet

On average.
Men's IQs skew more polar. Larger population of both brilliant and mentally deficient males.

I think the bigger crime in this list is flangeheads are listed higher than sparkies. This list is BS.

Study is 20 years old. I'd be interested to see how the male to female ratio has changed in the stem fields since then. And if so, has the average IQ of those fields changed as well?
Of the many really smart and capable women I worked with over several decades, most quit to have and raise children. That's a good thing.

Surprised that economics is that complicated. It all seems like easy to understand material
Economics is the philosophy of commerce. That takes into account human psychology, culture, morals and ethics, utility, money, banking systems, and how they all work together when people make choices. I’m not sure why you thought that would be “easy to understand.”

Shocker! Women like taking the easy road to say they are smart but are the first to complain they aren't getting a level playing field when it comes to jobs. I can hear it already i have a masters in Psyh/marketing and they want to only pay 60k a year.

Have you ever taken an econ class? It is very hard as a lot of the answers are more or less subjective

Where does scaffold builder or garbage man fall on that list?
Because neither of those seem to be high IQ jobs and dominated by men.

I'm taking one now. Admittedly I'm better at those type courses, so it doesn't seem that complicated to me.

What level of Econ are you taking? Anything beyond an intro course starts getting into what is essentially multivariable calculus, game theory, or advanced statistics.

Y’all just love tearing down women down but sure as hell don’t mind sleeping with us. So many of y’all are miserable assholes that I don’t understand how any woman could tolerate.
